Sorry for not writing for such a long time!
Everything is fine here. Just a lot came in between, and time seems to run!
Geir Olav dug me out last week. There was between 40 and 50 centimeter of heavy, wet snow in front of the door. No wonder I didn't get it open! It didn't help that a lot of snow had rambled down from the garage roof. All together Geir Olav needed around two hours to get enough snow away, to be able to park the car, clean the stairs and find a way to the door.
It's good to be able to say, that the weather kept at ease afterwards, and even happily surprised us with lots of sun, and today even temperatures up to 8 degrees Celsius!!! It is suddenly extreme mild and you can literally hear the snow and ice melt (although we will need some weeks of this weather before everything is gone).
On Saturday we went to a fair where they had all different kind of stuff for decorating your house. From furniture to tools, from heaters, to carpets and everything in between. We took a lot of brochures with us, to drool a bit further at home.. Most of it was very expensive, so for the time being it will stay with drooling
On Sunday I had an unfortunate meeting with a step of the stairs, which left my heel with an open wound. It is getting better, but every time I need to put my shoes on, it starts bleeding again. I did need to get out on Tuesday and Wednesday though. First for an appointment with the dentist (a part of one back tooth had broken off) and later for course. Now I hope it will have some days to heal.
Geir Olav got a real bad cold on Monday evening, and was forced to stay home two days with fever. He feels a bit better now, and went to work today. Though I think he still has some fever, I let him. I know he won't work the whole day.
In the mean time it's a lot of the Olympics that we watch (almost everything...)
Well if it makes you feel any better The Great WHITE North is living up to its nicname these days.
Citius, Altius, Fortius, Canuckus!
ouch and ouch! I hope you're getting a chance to rest that foot - luckily there's so much good television on.
Hi Mar, WOW what a lot of snow you had! But what fun having Geir rescue you!
Hope your heel is already better.
