Last Saturday Sharon gave birth to a little baby girl called Hannah Marjolijn
I am so happy for her! This morning I received some pictures over the mail. She is so small and cute! I won't place any pictures here (yet), since I haven't asked Sharon and also expect that, as a proud mommy, she might want to show her newborn to the world herself
It feels a bit strange to know that my Sis gave birth to this little lady who carries my name and knowing she is so far away... How I love to pay her a visit now! When I received the message that she had left for the hospital Saturday evening, I had my mobile laying beside my pillow all night... just in case. Eirik was so sweet to send me a mail early the next morning that everything had gone well
In the meantime are we here confronted with a real snow storm today. We had some days with real sun and nice temperatures, and even the streets started to get visible again (and oh how we enjoyed it!). Until last evening... Now everything is covered again with a fluffy white blanket of snow. I don't know how much has come down, but looking at what was on top of the car this morning I would say at least another 20 centimeters. The snow is going in all kind of directions, and is high up against the windows in the living, making it impossible to look outside.

They say the weather will stay this way for some days. Not much we can do about it, except for waiting for better times. At least it is almost March now, and the days are getting longer
We know that spring is on its way! I do feel that here you live much more with the seasons, since the weather has so much more influence on daily life. At least much more than what I am used to in Holland.
It's ok for me not to go out. My heel is getting better slowly, but wearing shoes still gives a problem. Instead I work on making a list of companies to whom I can send (or bring) my brochure. Quite fun work to do: it's a lot of searching and investigating. I also get a better idea of what kind of companies this town has and where they have their office.
Well CONGRATS to Sharon and her husband! Now we have TWO little Sparrows running around the globe! I'll have to drop over and offer my congrats in person!
Well for some reason BLOGGER.COM wont let me post a comment so please pass along my CONGRATS!
