Today was the last day of my course. We had a pleasant morning with cake and coffee and discussed the last four months and what the meetings had meant to us, and how we felt about our search for work. Personally I feel I have gone through an inner growth. I feel more confident and even though I thought I knew myself quite well, the last four months I have learned so much more... I got much more perspective about a couple of things, and know that this course was exactly on the right moment: just on the moment I felt I got stuck...
On Friday we will come together for one more time: this time for a relaxed drink and more private time together
Some of the people made some pictures today. I haven't seen them yet, but am really curious about them.
Concerning the weather and the snow: On Thursday we had another blizzard. Again the upper road was completely closed off. This time we were a bit more prepared for it, and it looked like the wind was at least a little less strong. After that we had some tiny, mini, baby flakes every now and then, but hardly worth writing about. The days after that the big clean up started. I could see at least five different kind of snow ploughs pass every day. Impressive! The even managed to make the roads a bit wider again
The temperature went down rapidly, and last night it went down to around -20 degrees Celsius. The nights are bright and so are some of the days. Today was one of those days... I was walking home and could feel even some warmth of the sun (my jacket is black, which really makes you feel it). I could feel the cold bite on my cheeks and ears at the same time and just saw this white beautiful town around me. It gave me a very special feeling.
So, when I came home, I just dropped my back, paid a short visit to the toilet, grabbed my camera and went out again. You should have been there... the rest, the silence, the beauty... With no wind at all, a clear blue sky, I don't mind the cold. I really felt warm, happy and satisfied inside... In a way also privileged to see all of this. I also saw some funny things and made a series of pictures. Just to remember
We obviously weren't the only one who had to dig out our mailbox...:

This car was hidden completely, beside the outside mirror. The owners had been so smart though to make it more visible before the real big snow ploughs arrived...:

The road and fields (well, from here you hardly can see those last ones anymore) behind our house...:

Altho that much snow can TRUELY make life difficult it IS beautiful isnt it?
